Spring brings birth, renewal, and growth; everything is getting ready to bloom and is ripe with possibility.  The energies of Spring can feel heavy, wet, and slow; to counteract this, foods that are light, sharp, dry, and hot are most preferred.  They will help your body and energy feel less sluggish and help to keep illness at bay.
